The visiting delegation was entertained by Somali Artists singing national songs depicting that Somalia "is our country and we are its people".

In a welcoming speech, the NGRC chairman, Mr. Ali Mahdi Mohamed briefed the visiting delegation about the congress proceedings, the passages it passed through and subsequent outcomes so far issued since the congress opened by the Somali President, Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed in mid July.
