But what you do here will make all the difference - all the difference between war and peace; and all the difference not only for you, but also for your children, and for your children's children. I strongly encourage you to fulfill your responsibilities which will meet the expectations of your people and your country. This is a very rare opportunity to bring peace and reconciliation back to Somalia and we must to do very thing possible to insure that this opportunity is not missed.

Meanwhile, today the congress discussed the item on sharing of national resources and political power sharing.

Many delegates aired their views on the subjects.

The congress nominated 50 wise men representing from the five major tribes to sign the first declaration in support of the first document on the first phase of reconciliation and social issues.


The signing ceremony will be held shortly.
